Dr. Craig Cutler![]() Dr. Craig Cutler was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He completed his pre optometry requirements during his four years at the University of Utah, and received his doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University (Portland, Oregon) in 1982. Dr. Cutler served internships at American Lake Veterans Hospital, Willamette County Health Clinic, Washington State School for the Blind, Portland Clinic, and Forest Grove Clinic. After completing his formal training, he spent a year of advanced practical study treating patients in Jamaica before returning to Salt Lake to establish his private practice. Dr. Cutler opened Wasatch Vision Clinic in 1984, and moved the clinic to its newly remodeled offices in 1986. He specializes in primary care, contact lenses, and LASIK comanagement. Dr Cutler had the LASIK procedure in July of 1999 with good results. He is married to Kathleen Boynton MD, and is the father of three. His youngest children are twins who were born in August, 2000. Dr. Cheryl Torghele![]() Dr. Cheryl Torghele was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Utah with a degree in biology. Dr. Torghele received her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University. She has completed internships at four Portland Oregon area clinics, as well as the Salt Lake V.A. Hospital, The Moran Eye Center, and the Eye Institute of Utah. These clinics gave her experience in ocular disease, contact lens fitting, pre and post op care of surgical procedures including LASIK, and Cataract surgery. She also had experience with a retinal specialist. Dr. Torghele joined Wasatch Vision Clinic in 1998. She specializes in primary care, treatment of eye disease, contact lens care, and LASIK comanagement. She is available to see patients during the week and on Saturdays. Dr. Denmark JensenDenmark R. Jensen, a recent graduate from The Ohio State College of Optometry joined our practice in July of 2004. Denmark attended Ricks College for two years to receive a degree in Interpersonal Communications. He graduated from Brigham Young University in December 1999 with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology. He graduated from The Ohio State College of Optometry in June of 2004. He also served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the Copenhagen, Denmark Mission. You might wonder why he has such an unusual name. His great-great-great grandfather was the first Scandenavian born on the plains of Nebraska, so they named him Denmark after the mother country. In honor of his legacy, Dennis and Corinne named their oldest son after him. Denmark is married to Dayna M. Jensen of St. Anthony, Idaho for 7 plus years. Together they have 2 sons, Isaac and Nathan. Dr. Jensen is available for appointments or walk-ins Friday, Saturday and Monday. He also works 3 days a week in Layton. Dr. Camron J. BatemanDr. Camron Bateman settled in Sandy, Utah at the age of twelve after his father retired from the Air Force. He studied at the University of Utah in the Behavioral Science and Health Department. Dr. Bateman received his doctorate of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2006. He served internships in multiple low income clinics in and around St. Louis, the St. Louis Veterans Administration Hospital, the University Eye Center, and the Eye Foundation of Utah. Dr. Bateman is experienced in cataract pre/post operative procedures, glaucoma management, pediatrics, contact lenses, ocular disease, and LASIK procedures. Dr. Bateman joined Wasatch Vision Clinic in 2006. |
